Complying with EEO, Discrimination and Safety Obligations

 This session will provide a practical overview of
(a) the principles of equal employment opportunity,
(b) the law relating to discrimination and harassment,
(c) occupational health and safety law,
(d) employment law,
(e) the management of legal practice

and will satisfy the mandatory CLE requirements under clause 176 of the Legal Profession Regulation 2005. Covering both federal and state legislation with a particular focus on NSW, it will also address some recent decisions which highlight how issues can arise for employers.
