Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Family Law
Beth joined Belbridge Hague in March 2016 as a family lawyer.
She attended Charles Darwin University and completed a Bachelor of Laws in November 2013. Before finishing her law degree Beth volunteered in a local law family law firm in Cairns, which sparked her interest in practicing in family law.
It was in May 2014, Beth commenced volunteer work at the Hume Riverina Community Legal Service in Wodonga. It was at (HRCLS) that she assisted in areas of law such as family law, civil disputes, infringements.
Beth was employed full time at the HRCLS in a community development and family law role. She then moved to a family law position principally involving children’s matters. Beth was also a duty solicitor for family violence proceedings at the Wodonga Magistrates’ Court.
During the time that Beth has been employed at Belbridge Hague, she has been working in the family law department assisting with children and property matters.
Beth has recently completed her Masters in Family Law through the College of Law. Her next step will be working toward obtaining a Specialist Accreditation.
Outside of work, Beth plays soccer on the weekends and makes lack-lustre attempts at triathlons in Allan’s Flat. She is also involved with activities surrounding her children.
Beth loves to travel and has been to China and New Zealand. Favourite movie? Superhero movies, Thor, Avengers etc.
