Robbert Fox

Robbert was admitted in 1967 after having achieved his qualifications at a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University in 1964 and 1967. He continued his studies and achieved his Master of Laws degree in 1970.
In 1993 he obtained Mediator’s qualifications from Bond University.
Robbert has always regarded himself as a very general practitioner, having opened his own practice in Jannali in 1972, taking on whatever work walked up the stairway to his small office.
He joined the Sutherland/St George Law Society in 1972 and was eventually elected as President. He then served as Councillor of the Law Society of New South Wales for the next 10 years.
He also served as a District and Local Court Civil Arbitrator.
On his retirement from the Council he was appointed a part time member of the Legal Services Tribunal, and subsequently was appointed to a similar role when that Tribunal became part of the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal.
