AustLaw

About AustLaw

Formed in 1985 by five Sydney suburban law firms, AustLaw is now an association of  11 independent law firms with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, regional New South Wales and Victoria.

AustLaw’s main objective is to provide member firms with an innovative and supportive forum to share information, and to utilise the collective resources of the network for the benefit of members and their clients.

Choosing an AustLaw firm to look after your legal needs ensures that you have access to a firm that is committed to providing you with the best possible advice, regardless of their size and location. To find out which firms are in the network click on the Find a Member section of this website.

AustLaw Structure

While each AustLaw member operates independently of other members, we share common work practices and we are linked by a full-time secretariat based in Canberra. Our Executive Committee is drawn from member firm representatives and helps to guide the association’s strategic vision: identifying issues of importance to independent legal firms and facilitating discussion, professional development opportunities and external assistance.
